Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are open year-round. The winter season welcomes opportunities to rediscover the museums through gallery exhibits and films, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The outdoor living-history areas are open 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., January 2 - February 28.
Museum hours
Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown galleries, exhibits and award-winning films are open year-round 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s days.
The outdoor living-history areas are open 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., January 2 - February 28.
Jamestown Settlement Café
From January 4 to March 10, the café at Jamestown Settlement is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. offering a streamlined menu. The grill will operate between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Bottled water and a variety of sweet and salty snacks are available in the museum shop, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Guests also can purchase beverages at vending machines on site.
The 1781 Café at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown
The 1781 Café by Aromas will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. from January 2 to February 28.
The museum shop, open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, offers bottled beverages and a wide variety of sweet and salty snacks.

Unless otherwise noted, the museum shops are open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and offer a selection of museum souvenirs, reproductions, books and collectibles.
Annual inventory
During the winter, our museum shops close to conduct an annual inventory. The museum shop at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is closed for inventory on Tuesday, January 21, 2026 and the Jamestown Settlement shops are closed on Tuesday, January 27 2026.
