Rising 3rd-6th graders, join us for artmaking workshops. You’ll be inspired by our galleries and living-history areas and explore an artform you may not have tried before in a fun, casual environment with teaching artist, Lauren Sowder.

Parents or guardians with paid museum admission are welcome to accompany their young artists.

All summer 2026 Workshops for Kids will take place at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Workshops cost $12 ($8 for members) per person. Advance registration required.

About the Museums

Jamestown Settlement and the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown are open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s days. Jamestown Settlement is located on State Route 31 near the Colonial Parkway in James City County, just southwest of Williamsburg and adjacent to Historic Jamestowne. The American Revolution Museum at Yorktown is located on Route 1020 in Yorktown, near Yorktown Battlefield and Historic Yorktown.
