In conjunction with the Outlander: Costumes Woven in Time special exhibition, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation is showcasing the work of our historical tailors who dress interpreters depicting people living in early America.
Samantha Bullat, Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Experience Design Specialist, offers detailed insight into the design and construction of historical clothing worn by museum interpreters some based on period portraits and surviving garments on display in the museum’s gallery exhibits.
The exhibition and historical clothing displays are on display March 6 - May 18, 2026 at the American Revolution Museum at Yorktown.
