- Please confirm that the submitted dimensions for your work are accurate for your ready-to-hang art.
- Dimensions must be accurate for the exhibition design team to plan the spacing of the installation.
- Your art should be ready to hang with hardware installed. (D-rings preferred instead of wire.)
- If the work is framed, the framed dimensions are needed. See image below for how to measure.
- All works on paper should be glazed, framed and ready to hang with hardware installed. (D-rings preferred instead of wire.)
- Two-dimensional framed artwork or textiles may not exceed 40” in any direction including frame.
- Three-dimensional, oversized or heavy work will be reviewed based on the museum’s gallery, safety and physical installation capabilities. The museum is not able to install works which hang from the ceiling.
- Artwork may not exceed 50 lbs.
- 42” monitors will be provided for video works. The Museum will be able to install projected works as well. Videos must meet ADA requirements, such as captioning of audio (additional details available upon request).
- Video works must be delivered in HEVC H.265 format at 30fps and audio files in WAV format. All artworks must be ready to exhibit/hang at time of delivery.

The Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation will not be responsible for the preparation, mounting, framing or installation of hardware to any works of art. Work that is not ready to exhibit on delivery will be eliminated from the showcase.
